5. Participant Commitments & Guidelines

​To help us grow, improve our government-subsidized programs, and share the FUTRFEST story with the world, we ask all accepted participants to agree to the following light commitments:

​🌿 Kasagi Retreat Feedback: Complete short feedback surveys regarding your experience and co-creation activities for the Japan Tourism Agency (JTA) pilot program.
​📱 Share Your Experience: Post at least once on your social media during the event, tagging #FUTRWORKS.
​⭐ Leave a Quick Review: Write a brief review on Google Maps to help build our local community footprint.
​💬 Official Event Communication (WhatsApp Required): To ensure seamless real-time updates and announcements, all official communication will be conducted exclusively via WhatsApp. Participants must have an active account.

6. How to Join (3 Easy Steps)

Q: Can I participate while working full-time in my own timezone?
A: Yes! FUTRFEST is designed with flexibility in mind. All evening networking and weekend activities are optional, allowing you to prioritize your client work and meetings using our 24/7 high-speed workspace.

​Q: Is the Kasagi Retreat mandatory?
A: While it is a highlight of the festival (and subsidized by the Japan Tourism Agency), participation is optional. However, we highly encourage it for the unique cultural and co-creation experience!

​Q: How does the “Free Pass with FutrStays” offer work?
A: If you book your accommodation at FutrStays for the event period, your 35,200 JPY event pass fee is completely waived.

​Q: What is the application review process?
A: We review applications on a rolling basis (takes 1–3 business days) to ensure a diverse, vibrant mix of skills and backgrounds within the community.

Q: Why is WhatsApp required?
