Q.Is drop-in (temporary use) available? Please tell me the fees and hours of use for drop-in.

Yes, drop-in (temporary use) is available. The fee is 2,750 JPY (tax included) per day, and the hours of use are [Weekdays 9:15 AM – 6:00 PM]. No advance reservation is required, but please inform the reception desk upon your arrival.

Q.If I purchase a day pass for my first visit, can I upgrade to a week pass or month pass later?

Yes, it is possible to upgrade from a day pass (drop-in) purchased during your first visit to a weekly pass or a monthly pass.
The fee you paid for the drop-in will be applied towards the week pass or month pass fee only if you upgrade on the same day. For example, if you pay the drop-in fee of 2,750 JPY and then sign up for a monthly plan on the same day, 2,750 JPY will be deducted from your monthly fee.

Q.Is it possible for multiple people or groups to use the facility?

Yes, it is possible. For corporate teams of multiple members, or for use by organizations and programs, we can propose a separate optimal plan. Please contact us for details.

Membership – Startups Based in Japan

Q.Could you please explain the process from enrollment to starting usage?

We will review the contents described in your entry form for tenancy (you will be notified of the result within 5 business days after the submission) and then conduct an interview. The move-in procedures will take a minimum of about two weeks, so please consider and proceed with the procedures in advance.

Q.Please tell me about the fees, availability, and minimum contract period for private offices.

We offer private offices with 2-people and 4-people capacity.
Fees vary depending on the size and facilities, but they start with [80,000 JPY (tax excluded) per month for a 2-people private office, and 152,000 JPY (tax excluded) per month for a 4-people private office].
Current availability is subject to change, so please inquire via the contact form.
The minimum contract period is 12 months.

Q.Are locker and mailbox services available? Is corporate registration possible?

Yes, Lockers and mailboxes are available for 1000 JPY for 2 weeks. And corporate registration and address usage are possible with our “Startup Based in Japan” plan.
Regarding additional fees, they vary depending on the chosen plan, so please check our pricing page or contact us for details.

About the Space

Q.Please tell me about the facility’s operating hours and usage during holidays (public holidays, New Year’s, etc.).

FUTRWORKS staff are present during business hours from [Weekdays 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM]. First-time visitors to FUTRWORKS should come during these hours. Members who have purchased a 1-week pass or longer can access the facility 24/7 using the facial recognition system.
If there are special closing days, such as during the New Year’s holiday or public holidays, we will announce them in advance on our website.

Q.Are there any phone booths available? Do I need to make a reservation, and are there any time limits for use?

Yes. We have several private phone booths for online meetings and telephone calls. Reservations are required.
Each plan includes a monthly allowance of complimentary phone-booth hours. Additional charges apply once this allowance has been used.
Online meetings and telephone calls may also be conducted freely in designated areas on the north side of the coworking space. Please be considerate of other users, avoid occupying these areas for extended periods, and allow others to use them when necessary.

Q.Please tell me about the reservation method, usage fees, and equipment for conference rooms and meeting rooms.

Yes, conference room use is available only with the “Startup Based in Japan” plan. You can make reservations through a member-exclusive reservation system. Each usage plan includes a monthly allocation of free hours. If you use more than the allocated free hours, usage fees will apply. Each conference room is equipped with a large monitor and a whiteboard.

Q.Is it possible to bring in food and drinks? Are there café spaces or rest areas?

Yes, it is possible. In the café space, coffee and food are served on specific days of the week.
There are also rest areas on the floor, including sofa spaces.

Q.What facilities are available for use? (Wi-Fi, power outlets, printer, monitor, etc.)

We have high-speed Wi-Fi, a multi-function printer (printer/scanner), rental lockers, and hot water facilities are available for free.
Please note that the multi-function printer is only available for the “Startup Based in Japan” plan and incurs separate charges: [6 JPY/page for black & white, 25 JPY/page for color]. For other details, please inquire individually.

Q.Is it possible to tour FUTRWORKS? How do I apply for a tour?

Yes, we offer facility tours at any time.
If you wish to schedule a tour, please select your preferred date and time from the tour reservation page (link) and contact us. Our dedicated staff will be pleased to guide you through the features of FUTRWORKS.

Q.Is there a smoking space?

Smoking is prohibited within FUTRWORKS. If you would like to smoke, please use the smoking areas on other floors within this building or in the vicinity.

Q.How do I get there? (Nearest station, parking, etc.)

The nearest stations are Hankyu Umeda, JR Osaka stations, or Osaka Metro Umeda station. All are within ~3 mins walking distance to FUTRWORKS.
When coming to FUTRWORKS, please refer to the following directions.
If you get lost, please do not hesitate to try the following guidance.
Hankyu Grand Building has multiple entrances, so if you are unsure, we recommend finding the main entrance of Hankyu Department Store first.
From there, follow the steps below, and you should be able to reach us without any problems.
Step 1: Inside the Hankyu Grand Building, directly across from the entrance of Hankyu Department Store, you will see a sign for “32nd Street.”
Step 2: Proceed further inside and go to the elevators that serve floors 23 to 31.
Step 3: Take the elevator to the 26th floor.

Q.Is English support available? Is your website multilingual?

Yes, we have staff available who can assist you in English, and they will help you with facility guidance and various procedures.
Currently, our website is available in both Japanese and English. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.

Q.Are there any restrictions on usage conditions (such as visa type) for foreign users or digital nomads?

FUTRWORKS welcomes creators and startups from both Japan and overseas, and there are no restrictions based on nationality for foreign customers.
However, regarding your status of residence (visa) in Japan, you are responsible for holding an appropriate visa based on Japanese law.
For usage patterns that require specific visas (e.g., corporate registration, long-term contracts), please consult us, and we will provide you with further details.

Q.Is it possible to use the facility for web conferences with overseas participants during night or early morning hours?

Yes, users who have purchased a weekly or a monthly pass can use the facility 24 hours a day, allowing you to comfortably conduct web conferences with overseas participants despite time differences.
While we ask for your consideration of others when conducting web conferences in the shared space, you can also utilize the phone booths.
