Global Startup Week in OSAKA (Feb 4 – 10)

FUTRWORKS is excited to organize and host “Global Startup Week in OSAKA,” a 7-day program designed to promote international innovation and collaboration, with the Umeda area in Osaka at its epicenter.

The program, running from February 4 to February 10, will be headquartered at FUTRWORKS, a fully serviced coworking space in Umeda where remote workers and digital nomads from all around the globe meet.

On February 5, as part of the week’s activities, we will host “Global Startup Meetup in Osaka #01” at FUTRWORKS. Participation in this meetup is required to apply for the full program. The meetup is designed for foreign entrepreneurs, aspiring founders, and digital nomads to discover and explore ways to start or grow their businesses in Osaka and the Kansai region.

The Global Startup Week aims to bring together professionals from diverse backgrounds and help them create new connections locally, with ambitious goals at its core: revitalizing the Kansai startup ecosystem, promoting collaboration with local businesses, and expanding business opportunities.

Program Overview

・Dates: Wednesday, February 4th – Tuesday, February 10th, 2026
・Location: FUTRWORKS (Hankyu Grand Building, 26F 8−47 Kakuda-cho, Kita Ward, Osaka 530-0017 Japan)
・Language: English
・Content: A 7-day coworking and networking program for startups, entrepreneurs, digital nomads, remote workers, and more.
・Mandatory Event: Participation in the full program requires attendance at the  “Global Startup Meetup in Osaka #01” held on February 5th.
・Maximum of 5 participants. Screening will be conducted.
・Applications open until January 16th, 2026.
